Deb has worked as an interior and garden designer, as well as for an international charity. Her relocation to Cornwall in 2017 marked a pivotal return to her artistic roots, as the region’s breathtaking coastal vistas and untamed moorlands reignited her passion for painting. Deb’s artistic practice is deeply rooted in the ‘plein air’ tradition, allowing her to engage directly with the landscapes that have stood the test of time. Her work seeks to distil the quintessential spirit of West Cornwall’s landscapes, employing a blend of oil & cold wax, alongside acrylic and mixed media. She works on canvas, paper, and board, and has work in private collections in the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.
