Tracey graduated from Leeds in 2003 and was given the opportunity of a studio space at the then newly built East Street Arts, where she based herself for some years.
Relocating to Cornwall over ten years ago meant a dramatic change in scenery, after always being influenced by the buildings and architecture around her, her work developed and adapted to her new environment, but by being loyal to her strong lines and use of colour, Tracey's work is still distinctly recognisable as hers.
She uses oil on paperboard and can sometimes incorporate a collage and mixed media element to her practice. After becoming a mother five years ago, she branched into figurative work, focusing on her own growing children, these figurative paintings evoke a sense of vintage storybooks with a modern day element.
